Topsoe VR – Industrial Safety & Operational Training Simulation

About This Project

We developed a large-scale Virtual Reality training simulation for Topsoe, a renowned industrial catalyst development organization, to provide their workforce with safe, immersive, and interactive operational training. This Unity-based VR solution allows workers to experience different work scenarios across multiple industrial locations and learn to identify and manage potential hazards in real time. The simulation includes multiple environments, complex tasks, and interactive objects, enabling employees to practice workflows, understand hazard management, and improve operational safety without real-world risks. Challenge-based scenarios help users test their knowledge, respond to emergencies, and master best practices in a safe, engaging environment. A key focus of this project was optimizing large-scale VR environments to maintain high FPS and smooth performance on Meta Quest 3, despite the complexity and scale of the industrial scenes. This project demonstrates how VR technology can revolutionize industrial training, improving hazard awareness, reducing workplace accidents, and boosting productivity across complex industrial operations.
