About This Project
We developed a Unity-based Drone Control Simulation designed to help students and beginners learn how to safely control and operate drones through an immersive virtual training environment. This simulation provides hands-on experience with basic and advanced drone controls, flight navigation, altitude control, and maneuvering, as well as real-world drone operation scenarios in a safe, risk-free environment. To improve skill development, the application includes interactive quizzes and challenge-based missions, where learners must complete flight tasks, answer control-related questions, and demonstrate accurate drone handling to progress. This project highlights how VR-based drone training can accelerate learning, improve confidence, and reduce training risks compared to traditional hands-on methods.
