Zoom Camera Monitoring Software | Live Participant Camera-Off Alerts
We built a Zoom camera monitoring and compliance alerting tool for training organisations that must verify learner attendance on camera. The application joins an active Zoom meeting through the official Zoom Meeting SDK, tracks every participant's camera state in real time, and alerts the trainer when a camera stays off beyond a configurable threshold. A short grace period absorbs network drops and webcam repositioning, so trainers are only interrupted by genuine non-compliance. Alerts carry the participant's Zoom name and the exact time the camera was switched off, support multiple simultaneous alerts, and are delivered as both an audible chime and a desktop notification. The tool exports a per-participant camera-off report that supports decisions on issuing completion certificates, making it suited to RTOs, CPD providers, compliance trainers, and any organisation delivering mandatory training over Zoom.
