    About This Project

    We developed a large-scale Virtual Reality safety training simulation designed for trainees working in high-risk industrial environments, including oil & gas, natural gas, energy, and railway sectors. Built using Unity and optimized for Meta Quest 3, this immersive solution provides realistic, hands-on safety training without exposing users to real-world hazards. The simulation features multiple environments, complex scenes, and a wide range of interactive objects, allowing trainees to experience real-life industrial scenarios such as hazard identification, safety protocol execution, and emergency response. A key challenge of this project was maintaining high performance and stable FPS while managing large scenes and numerous assets on standalone VR hardware. Through advanced optimization techniques, we delivered a smooth, high-fidelity experience suitable for enterprise-level training. This project demonstrates how VR-based safety training can improve hazard awareness, reduce accidents, and enhance workforce preparedness across complex industrial environments.
