About This Project
We developed a Mixed Reality (MR) application for an Earth Energy Exploration research group to help visualize energy lines that exist in the environment but are invisible to the naked eye. This solution transforms complex scientific data into an immersive, visual experience that can be easily understood by researchers, stakeholders, and visitors. Using mixed reality technology, the application overlays virtual energy line visualizations onto the real world, allowing users to see, explore, and interact with energy patterns directly within the physical environment. To enhance engagement, the experience includes challenge-based exploration tasks, where visitors are encouraged to locate energy paths, observe variations, and interact with data-driven visual elements, turning passive viewing into active discovery. This project demonstrates how mixed reality can bridge scientific research and public understanding, making invisible natural phenomena visible, interactive, and engaging.
